Wilson Hall art students sweep competition

The following Wilson Hall students won first place in their respective divisions in the S.C. Independent School State Art Competition: eighth-grader Landon Miller - open media 2D; eighth-grader Caitlyn Schumacher - open media 3D; sophomore Catharine Busch - sculpture; senior Angelica Agno - painting; and senior Anne Land Welch - pottery.

Wilson Hall students received a total of 21 ribbons.

More than 400 pieces of artwork from students who attend SCISA schools across the state were displayed for the art show and reception that was held at The Darla Moore Foundation's R.O.B. Center in Lake City.

The art teachers are Ashley Lareau, Mary Ann Reames and Tara Schumacher.
