Sheriff's office locates missing man

Herbert Smith, the 67-year-old Sumter County man reported missing to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office earlier this morning, has been located and is in good health.

Smith was located near Pinewood town hall about 11:40 a.m., approximately 12 miles from the nursing home where he resides. He was returned by deputies to his residence.
