AFELIA BRIGGS

Afelia "Ann" Briggs departed this life on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at her home, 9055 Camp Mac Boykin Road, Pinewood.

Born on July 19, 1963, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of Camillia King Briggs and the late Pernell Briggs Sr.

Public viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kingdom Builders Deliverance Ministries, 621 W. Liberty St., Sumter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Greater St. Phillip RMUE Church, 4574 Old River Road, Pinewood, with Bishop Duwine Sinkler officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 2 to 8 p.m. daily at the home of her sister, Linda King, 1411 Dreamers Lane, Pinewood.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Simmons Funeral Home, 8824 Old Number Six Highway, Santee.
