IRVINGTON, New Jersey — On Monday, April 22, 2024, Bishop Joe Canty Jr., "JC", husband of Minister Louise Gadsden Canty, passed away peacefully at his residence.
Born on Wednesday, May 26, 1948, in Manning, he was a son of the late Deacon Joe Canty Sr. and the late Deaconess Thomasine Dingle Canty.
The family will receive relatives and friends beginning Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 3-6 p.m. at the residence of his nephew and niece, the Rev. Dr. Curtis and Jacqueline "Jacky" Cantey, 1262 Amberside Drive, Manning.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by the Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel of Manning.
