CAROLYN JAMES

MANNING - On Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, Carolyn James passed away peacefully at her residence.

Born on Monday, Dec. 6, 1965, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Julia Lee Billups Singleton.

Services celebrating her life will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, Summerton, where the pastor, the Rev. Dr. George Hicks, will officiate. Masks are required. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located in the Historic Liberty Hill AME Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

The family is receiving relatives and friends during the hours of 3 to 8 p.m. at the residence, 1076 Otto Road, Manning.
