PHI OMEGA OMEGA

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Phi Omega Omega Chapter installed new officers at the sorority's December meeting. They will begin their two-year term of service in January 2024. Phi Omega Omega thanks their outgoing officers for their years of sisterhood and service.

New officers are: president, Jacqueline Sheriod-Scott; vice president, Sabrina Mellerson; recording secretary, Indria Pasley; corresponding secretary, Sharon Madison; treasurer, Artrell Manning; assistant treasurer, Randell Stewart; financial secretary, Angelia Johnson; assistant financial secretary, Sonya Ricketts-Fullard; public relations liaison, Renae Caldwell; hostess, Paulette King; sergeant at arms, Terrie Coulter; historian, JoAnn Coaxum; chaplain, Alfreda Cooper; and parliamentarian, Randell Stewart.

Phi Omega Omega will celebrate Alpha Kappa Alpha's Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day of Service, the Sorority's 116th Founders' Day and AKA Day in Clarendon County on Monday, Jan. 15. A Winter Apparel Giveway will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Visions by Design (formerly the Clarendon County Council on Aging Center), 206 S. Church St., Manning.

The chapter will also commemorate its founders with a Founders' Day Celebration on that same day beginning at 1:15 p.m. on the courthouse grounds in Manning.
