Community health fair Saturday in Summerton

Clarendon District One and Lake Marion Artisans will hold a health fair for members of the Summerton community from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the gymnasium of Clarendon One Resource Center, formerly the Old Historic Scott's Branch High School complex, 1154 Fourth St., Summerton.

Hope Health will offer free screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure, body mass index and cholesterol. In addition, Walmart will offer free vision testing; Sumter Hearing Associates will offer free hearing tests; and CVS will offer free flu shots for all Medicare participants and a nominal fee for others.
