Crestwood-Lakewood football game moved to Thursday

The Lakewood High School football team will play host to Crestwood on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at J. Frank Baker Stadium because of the threat of inclement weather on Friday.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday.

There are now five games involving local schools that have been moved up to Thursday. Sumter will travel to Irmo for a 7:30 p.m. contest, Manning will play host to Bishop England at 7 p.m., Lee Central will be at home against Andrew Jackson High at 7:30 p.m. and East Clarendon will travel to Johnsonville for at 7:30 p.m. game.

All of the games involving SCISA schools as well as the Scott's Branch-C.E. Murray contest are still set for Friday with 7:30 p.m. starts. The SCISA contests have Wilson Hall playing at Laurence Manning Academy, Robert E. Lee Academy playing host to Trinity-Byrnes, Thomas Sumter Academy at home against Dillon Christian and Clarendon Hall plays host to W.W. King.
