DAVID J. RUDD SR.
David J. Rudd Sr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on April 26, 1977, in Charleston, to the late William Billy Oxendine and Deborah Floyd (Charles). David was a hardworking man who had the skills and craft to fix almost anything.
He leaves behind his four children, David (Katie), Trenton (Trinity), Will (Haleigh) and Daniel (Ashley); one sister, Christy Ratliff; two grandchildren, Kaison and Emmett; two uncles, Robert (Lynda) and Burgess (Crystal); a loving spouse, Ashley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Edge; aunt, Jackie Dennis; uncle, Marion Rudd; and cousin, Ralph Oxendine.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday with Pastor Johnny McLeod officiating in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday at Bullock Funeral Home.
