Sumter Item going to USPS delivery beginning Saturday, March 2

The Sumter Item will be delivered via the United States Postal Service each Saturday and Wednesday, beginning Saturday, March 1. Subscribers not already on mail delivery will receive the newspaper in their mailbox. Residents may also get the newspaper in stores and racks across the region.
Beginning next week, each Wednesday and Saturday newspaper will be larger, filled with local news and many of the features subscribers enjoy throughout the week. TheItem.com will be updated multiple times daily with local news by local reporters, with free email newsletter subscription options available as well.
