DOROTHY MAE PORTER SINGLETON

Dorothy Mae Porter Singleton, 75, wife of Moses Singleton Sr., was born on Sept. 21, 1948, in Sumter, a daughter of the late John Porter Sr. and Doretha Tucker Porter. She departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Sumter, SC 29153 with the Rev. Darien Porter officiating and the Rev. R.L. Brown, eulogist. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens, Sumter, SC 29153.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 7 p.m. daily at the home, 3387 Ebenezer Road, Sumter, SC 29153.
