BISHOPVILLE - It is with great sadness that the Square Deal Funeral staff announce the passing of Eugene Woodrow Burgess, of Sumter, husband of Francis Isaac Burgess, who is the owner of Square Deal Funeral Home. Mr. Burgess transitioned to his eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time by Square Deal Funeral Home, 106 McIntosh St., Bishopville.
