GARDENIA CANTY ROBINSON

Gardenia Canty Robinson, 78, widow of Joseph "Mickey" Robinson, was born on July 7, 1945, in Sumter County, a daughter of the late Polk Sanders and Susan Emma Canty. She departed this life on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with the Rev. Bobby McDonald officiating and the Rev. Ricky White, eulogist. Interment will follow in New Hope Community Cemetery, Pinewood, SC 29125.

The family will receive friends at the home, 445 E. Fulton St., Pinewood, SC 29125.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
