GENEVA EARNESTINE SPANN GAVIN

Geneva Earnestine Spann Gavin, 88, widow of Arthur Gavin, was born on July 25, 1935, in Moncks Corner, a daughter of the late Willie James Spann and Elease Brand Spann. She departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at New Covenant Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 907 Legare St., Sumter, SC 29150 with Elder Reginald Blackwell presiding and the Rev. Elijah Washington, eulogist. Interment will follow at New Covenant Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150.

The family will receive friends at the home, 105 S. Sumter St., Apartment 214, Sumter, SC 29150.
