Gertrude Jefferson, 76, widow of Alex Jefferson, died on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at her residence.
Born on Oct. 18, 1947, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Son Hunter and Doretha Jenkins.
The family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed during visitation at the home, 915 Miller Road No. 22B, Sumter.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Williams Funeral Home Inc.
