HATTIE MAE JOSEY

Hattie Mae Josey, 73, was born on Oct. 18, 1950, in Conway, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Sigler Josey. She departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Church, 2280 Fourbridges Road, Sumter, SC 29153 with the Rev. Michael C. Walker presiding and the Rev. Dr. Sammie D. Simmons, eulogist. Interment will follow in the St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29153.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. daily at the home, 1170 Plowden Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29153.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
