HERMAN BROWN

Herman "Leroy" Brown, 74, husband of Frances Griffin Brown, was born on April 11, 1949, in Sumter, a son of the late Johnnie Croom and the late Thomas and Mary Murray Brown. He departed this life on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Linda M. Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Family Cemetery, Wedgefield, SC 29168.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. daily at the home of his daughter, 6060 Lost Creek Drive, Sumter, SC 29154.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
