IVORY ROSE BURGESS WILSON

Ivory Rose Burgess Wilson, 88, was born on Jan. 14, 1936, in New Zion, a daughter of the late John Benjamin Howard and Creola Ophelia Burgess Howard.

She departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at First Baptist Missionary Church, 219 S. Washington St., Sumter, SC 29150 with the Rev. George P. Windley Jr. officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Turbeville, SC 29162.

The family will receive friends at the home, 3643 Moseley Drive, Sumter, SC 29154.
