JERRY TENNANT

Jerry Edward Tennant Sr., 68, husband of the late Mary Strickland Tennant, died on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Jerry was born in Manning to the late Ernest and Eunice Bryant Tennant.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Gladden (Anthony) of Sumter; two sons, Jerry Tennant Jr. (Sheryce) of Sumter and Raymond Tennant (Michelle) of Sumter; a brother; two sisters; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Tennant.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynwood Collins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
