LEROY WILLIAMS

Funeral services for Leroy Williams will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel of Whites Mortuary with the Rev. Calvin K. Hastie Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Leroy was born on Feb. 21, 1934, in Sumter County, to the late Laura Mae Williams and Josh Jamison.

He departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, in Sumter.

Leroy leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Tacanya A. Washington; a son, Gregory L. (Stacey) Hopkins; one brother, Clifford Williams; one sister, Ella Mae Williams; a special friend, Lucile Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1120 Craig Road, Sumter.
