Man wanted by Manning Police Department on criminal sexual conduct with a minor charge arrested in North Carolina; 2nd suspect sought

MANNING – A 28-year-old man wanted by Manning Police Department since Jan. 23 on a charge of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree, was arrested in North Carolina in mid-February on charges that occurred in that state.

Kenon Daquan Stallworth was extradited to Manning on Feb. 22. On his arrival at Clarendon County Detention Center, Stallworth was served a warrant for criminal sexual conduct, first degree. Stallworth’s bond was set at $75,000 surety bond. He was released from the detention center on Feb. 23, the day after extradition to Manning.

MPD is still looking for a second man in connection to the criminal sexual conduct of a minor first-degree incident.

Matthew Brian Sowards, 28, is still being sought. Sowards is 5 feet, 11 inches with brown hair and hazel eyes.
