MARY SUE MORRIS RIDGILL

Mary Sue Morris Ridgill, 82, wife of James Richard Ridgill, died Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home.

Born Sept. 10, 1941, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Warren B. Morris and Susie Shirah Morris. She was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Ridgill retired from Campbell’s Soup Co. and the U.S. Postal Service. She enjoyed time at her family mountain home, her flowers and relaxing in her gazebo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Arthur Sharpe. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Ridgill, Mike Larkins, James Morris Jr., Jay Branch, Mike Branch and Joe Branch Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
