The event is scheduled to last two hours, and the doors will open at 9 a.m. The event was organized by Nikki Haley for President.

Early voting in the primary will continue each weekday through Thursday, Feb. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sumter County Courthouse, 141 N. Main St. Clarendon County residents can participate in early voting at 3 S. Church St. in Manning in the same timeframe. Lee County residents can vote early at 101 Gregg St. in Bishopville, also at the same times. Information on absentee voting is available at scvotes.gov/voters/absentee-voting. Registered voters can also vote on the day of the state Republican primary, which is Saturday, Feb. 24. Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day, and individuals can find their polling place address and view their sample ballot at scvotes.gov.

The only race on the Republican primary ballot is for president. Candidates on the ballot include Nikki Haley, Donald Trump, Ryan Binkley, Chris Christie, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and David Stuckenberg. However, Haley and Trump are the only two candidates still running for president. All the others dropped out of the race in January.
