Pair charged with alleged theft of firearms and knives

CHARGES
Joseph C. Outlaw, 23, of 5267 N. Cherryvale Drive, and Austin R. Gazley, 21, of 1048 Babette Road, were arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree burglary for allegedly taking multiple firearms and knives valued at about $4,000 from a residence in the 1000 block of Babette Street on June 12.
STOLEN PROPERTY
A green E-Z-Go golf cart valued at $2,000 was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of Mt. Zion Road, Olanta, on Saturday.
A Stihl weed trimmer valued at $360, a Stihl blower valued at $400 and a Poulan pole saw valued at $280 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Josh Wells Road on Saturday.
A 2016 Kia Soul valued at $13,000 was reportedly stolen while parked in the 2900 block of Poole Road on Sunday.
A black 54-inch flat-screen TV, unknown brand, valued at $400; a black 42-inch flat-screen TV, unknown brand, valued at $300; an iPhone 6 valued at $400; a handbag, unknown brand, valued at $20; a handbag, unknown brand, valued at $10; and two identification cards, unknown type and no listed value, were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Colony Road between 10 p.m. on Saturday and 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.
An air-conditioning unit, unknown make, valued at $150; a 32-inch flat-screen TV, unknown brand, valued at $500; a PlayStation Vita valued at $300; and a Nintendo DS valued at $150 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 3900 block of Colony Circle between 11 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Sunday.
A silver .25-caliber Lorcin semi-automatic pistol valued at $150 was reportedly stolen from a 2007 Honda Civic while parked at an apartment building in the 4400 block of Dorsey Drive on Monday.
A red Porter-Cable air compressor valued at $200; a skill saw, drill, reciprocating saw, impact hole saw, spot light and two batteries, all Porter-Cable brand tools, with a combined value of $600; and a green 100-foot air hose valued at $50 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Wise Drive between June 17 and July 10.
A 40-inch Toshiba flat-screen TV valued at $400, a pink-and-chrome 9mm SCCY pistol valued at $309 and $20 in ammunition were reportedly stolen from a residence on Althea Circle between 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and 9:45 a.m. on Monday. Approximately $300 in damage was caused to the residence when the back door was kicked in during the incident, according to a news release from Sumter Police Department.
