PATRICIA ABOUSSLEMAN BROOKE

Patricia Aboussleman Brooke, age 77, beloved wife of 33 years to Barry Raiford Brooke, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Minnie Lee Horton Aboussleman. Patricia was very active in the Red Hats Society, she was the Queen of the Sassy But Classy Carolina Girls and was an active member of the Newcomers Club. Patricia was an avid card player and enjoyed quilting. However, her true joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, are a son, Tommy Jones and his wife, Jennifer, of Atlanta; a daughter, Kasey Barton and her husband, Kevin, of Bremen, Georgia; a brother, Jerry Aboussleman and his wife, Janet, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Courtney Smith, Chloe Smith, Caleb Smith and Keighlyn Barton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Aboussleman; and two brothers, Joe Aboussleman and Mike Aboussleman.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Bullock Funeral Home.
