RHUNETTE HAWKINS ALSTON

Rhunette Hawkins Alston, 54, wife of David Nathaniel Alston III, was born on March 18, 1969, in Manning, a daughter of the late Robert Andrews Hawkins and Ruby Dell Burgess Hawkins. She departed this life on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Julia A. Hayes officiating and Pastor Jamell Casteal, eulogist. Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29150.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. daily at 1025 Panda Road, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
