ROBIN DALE PARRISH

Robin Dale Parrish, widower of Joyce Ann Smith Parrish, died on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, at his home.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Thomas Fred Parrish and Helen Radke Galloway. Mr. Parrish was a member of Pinegrove Baptist Church and was a retired painting contractor with Nu-Look Painting Co.

Surviving are two sons, Ray Sims Jr. (Rhonda) and Joe Sims (Marie); two daughters, Sharon Broome (Lou) and Stacy Parrish; three brothers, Charles Parrish, Ricky Parrish and Jimmy Parrish; six grandchildren, Kelly Norton, Courtney Finotti, Arielle Waldrop (Hunter), Luke Sims (Tori), Josh Sims and Nolan Sims; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2661 Tindal Road, No. 39.
