ROSA W. CLAVON

Rosa W. Clavon, 66, died on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Pleasant AME Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, directed by Jefferson Funeral Home Service Inc.

Mrs. Clavon was a daughter of the late Henry and Maedell McGee and widow of Marion Clavon Sr. She was educated in Lee County Public Schools and was an employee of Marlowe Mfg. Co. for more than 30 years. She was also a member of Mt. Pleasant AME Church.

Survivors include her children, Jacqueline Clavon and Marion (Shaneka) Clavon Jr.; a stepson, Steven Smalls; five grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Carolina, Queenie Hunter and Deloris Cox; two aunts, Josephine and Susan Hudson; an uncle, Leroy (Dorothy) Hudson; nephews; nieces; a goddaughter; six sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; cousins, other relatives and friends.
