From 9 to 9:30 a.m., the doors will be open to veterans only, according to a news release from Santee-Lynches. All other attendees can enter the job fair at 9:30 a.m.

Sixty employers, many from the Santee-Lynches region, are expected to participate in the job fair including Continental Tire the Americas, Meritor, Target, Thompson Construction, Invista, Crown Health Care Laundry and South Carolina Department of Corrections.

Space is limited for additional employers to register.

"People are the most important and valuable resource we have in our region," said Chris McKinney, executive director of Santee-Lynches.

"This event will provide a tremendous opportunity for employers to meet their workforce needs by connecting with people engaged in the pursuit of happiness through productive and meaningful work."

There is no cost to participate in the job fair.
