Bestselling author Hank Phillippi Ryan to discuss latest book Feb. 20 at Sumter County Museum

Award-winning investigative journalist and bestselling author Hank Phillippi Ryan will discuss her latest book, "One Wrong Word," as part of the Sumter County Museum's Annual Author Series on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at McKenzie Hall in the Heritage Education Center, 122 N. Washington St.
Ryan, renowned as a USA Today bestselling author of 15 psychological thrillers, has garnered multiple prestigious awards in the genre, including five Agathas, five
Anthonys and the coveted Mary Higgins Clark Award. In addition to her literary achievements, Ryan serves as an on-air investigative reporter for Boston’s WHDH-TV,
boasting 37 EMMYs and numerous other journalism honors. National book critics praise her as “a superb and gifted storyteller” and “master of suspense.” Notably, Ryan is the sole author to have won the Agatha in four categories: Best First, Best Novel, Best Short Story and Best Non-Fiction.
Her latest offering, is described as a page-turning standalone thriller, characterized by gaslighting, manipulation and murder. Acclaimed authors David Baldacci, B.A. Paris and James Patterson have all endorsed the book, with Baldacci remarking, “A story with all the goods… Buckle up and read,” Paris declaring it “A gripping rollercoaster of a read,” and Patterson stating, “If you’re looking for riveting suspense that keeps you up late — in One Wrong Word you get your wish.”

Registration for the noon program includes lunch and a hardcover copy of the book, available for signing during the event. Admission is $30 for museum members and $35 for non-members.
