A public viewing and visitation for Cassandra Elaine Jackson Rock-Scott will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday at Palmer Memorial Chapel, Sumter.

There will be no funeral or graveside service.

Cassandra Elaine Jackson Rock-Scott, 46, wife of Edward Scott, transitioned on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at her residence in Florence.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late John R. Sr. and Margaret D. James Jackson. She was a graduate of Sumter High School Class of 1994 and earned an Associate Degree from Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter. After graduation, she moved to Brooklyn, New York, and was employed as a surgical technician at Surgery Center of New York. In 2016, she relocated to Florence.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Scott of Darlington; a son, Adam Scott of Florence; a sister, Antwaun Jackson of Leesburg, Virginia; a brother, John R. Jackson Jr. of Columbia; two nieces, Taylor Jackson and Britanni Jackson, both of Columbia; a nephew, Daejohn Jackson of Sumter; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
