Hearts United Women's Ministry (formerly Knitting Hearts), which meets at Bethesda Church of God, 2730 Broad St., announces:

- April 13 - Hearts United will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Celebrating 20 years of ministry, we invite you to join us for fellowship, worship, an empowering message, uplifting testimonies, special music, door prizes and more. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Peter Wyns. Testimonies will be given by Becky Craft, Gail Timmons and Lisa Doan. All are welcome. Admission is free. A love offering will be received. - April 21 - The 28th pastoral anniversary of the Rev. James L. and Lady Alethia Clark will be celebrated at 3 p.m. The Rev. Emmanuel Davis, pastor of New Bethel AME Church in Bishopville, will speak.

Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 325 W. Fulton St., announces:

- Sunday, April 21 - Woman's Day / Woman's Ministry Anniversary Worship will be held at 10:45 a.m. Pastor Linda Kennedy will be the guest preacher.

- Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28 - Family and Friends Weekend will be observed. Saturday's events will begin at 9 a.m. with a workshop led by the Rev. Dr. LaVelle McCray, pastor of Rocky Mount MBC, Greenville, followed by fun and games for all ages including a Greek Scroll by fraternities and sororities from Morris College and a cookout on the church grounds. On Sunday, worship celebration will be held at 10:45 a.m.

Historic Liberty AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, Summerton, announces:

- Sunday, April 14 - The Women's Missionary Society will present "Journeying Through the Scriptures With Women of the Bible" at 3 p.m. This event will feature an original dramatization, written by Felita Grady Hicks, of well-known and little-known women of the Bible. An offering will be accepted.

Union Station AME Church, 945 S. Main St., announces:

- Saturday, April 27 - The "Ragin Merrick for Bishop" Campaign Committee is sponsoring a Gospel Concert of Praise and Worship at 3 p.m. The event will feature the Rev. H.E.
