- Sunday, Nov. 19 - The 17th pastoral anniversary of Pastor Richard and Sister Marilyn Addison will be celebrated during the 10 a.m. worship service. The Rev. Carnell Witherspoon will speak.

Knitting Hearts for Christ Ministry, which meets at Bethesda Church of God, 2730 Broad St., announces:

- We will be taking November and December off. Knitting Hearts Cafe will return at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, with international Bible teacher, pastor and author Dr. Peter Wyns and his wife, Joy. The Wynses will bring a powerful, relevant, life-changing message for the New Year. Dr. Wyns is a Messianic Jew and shares the word of the Lord with prophetic insight. Also, Tiffany and Justin Coates will share about their work overseas. Continental breakfast will be included.
