Harvin Clarendon Library Board meeting on Monday

MANNING - The Harvin Clarendon County Library Board will hold a meeting at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Clarendon County Administration Building Council Chambers. The board will be presented with its 2017-18 audit report from Vicki Laroche with McGregor & Co. Under old business, the board will discuss the library's mission statement tagline, and under new business, the board will review the Friends of the Library's Leadership and Membership Recruitment. The meeting is open to the public.

Summerton Strikes Back

with Star Wars event

SUMMERTON - The Force is with the Town of Summerton from noon to 4 p.m. March 2 when Star Wars fans of all ages come together to welcome the 501st Legion. The free event will feature Star Wars arts and crafts, creative activities, door prizes, face painting, light refreshments and selfies with a Stormtrooper.
