DNR is accepting Wood Duck Box Program applications through Oct. 31

Applications are now being accepted for the SCDNR 2025 Wood Duck Box Program.

The application is under "Lottery Hunts" within Go Outdoors SC at https://tinyurl.com/kbz8wt7y.

Applicants are selected by randomized computer drawing after the application period is over.

- Applicants must have or create an account through Go Outdoors SC;

- Random selection, NOT based on preference points or when you applied;

- Must be S.C. resident and at least 18 years old to apply;

- Up to three boxes can be requested;

- Odds of selection based on total number of applicants; and

- Applicants will be notified by email whether or not they were selected.

Deadline to apply is Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m.

You may apply for up to three wood duck boxes, though SCDNR reserves the right to reduce this number at its discretion.

There is no cost for the duck boxes.

The duck boxes will come with the predator guard; you must supply the post and mounting hardware (available at a local hardware store).
