DORSEY GAIL JUNKINS JR.

Dorsey Gail Junkins Jr., 74, widower of Lynda Baker Junkins, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville. Born at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Dorsey Gail Junkins Sr. and Christine Lockamy Junkins.

Mr. Junkins was a retired teacher at Central Carolina Technical College.

Surviving are his son, Robert G. Junkins (Cristi); two grandchildren, Anna Partin (Bryan) and Amber McCrea (Seth); and seven great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Ashton, Emberly, Callen, Jaxon and Oaklynn.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Barnette officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
