Here are the results as they come in for Sumter's two local runoff elections, featuring the candidates hoping to become the city's next mayor and Ward 2 city council member.
MAYOR
- Calvin Hastie: 35.67% | 2,283 votes
- David Merchant: 64.33% | 4,117 votes (winner)
SUMTER CITY COUNCIL WARD 2
- James Blassingame: 64.14% | 635 votes (winner)
- Talitha Harrison: 35.86% | 355 votes
