She was a graduate of Edmunds High School in Sumter in 1961. Soon after graduating, she married her husband, John Puzewski, in 1962. She worked many jobs during her beautiful life such as home cleaning, the department store Taps and was an operator at Bell Telephone. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Chief Master Sgt. John J. Puzewski, USAF (retired); her son, Daniel Puzewski and wife, Kellen Puzewski, of Sumter; brother Dr. Cecil M. Walker III and wife, Julie Walker, of Farmville, North Carolin; and sister Elaine W. Kirkpatrick and husband Col. Craig M. Kirkpatrick Jr., USAF (retired) of Etowah, North Carolina.
