IDA MAE WILLIAMS BRITTON

Ida Mae Williams Britton, 79, widow of Henry Lee Britton and daughter of the late Wallace Williams Sr., and Mary Eliza Sheriff Williams Seymore, was born on Aug. 30, 1944, in Clarendon County. She departed this life on Monday, March 4, 2024, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Beulah AME Church, 3175 Florence Highway, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Dwayne Bruce, officiating.

Interment will follow in Beulah AME Church Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1550 Illery Road, Sumter, daily from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
