JAMES E. JONES

James E. Jones, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior and his beloved wife of 57 years, Sandra Flowers Jones, on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Brookdale Senior Living.

Born Oct. 17, 1935, in Sumter, he was a son of the late William Thomas and Belle Marie Watson Jones.  He was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church and a retired pharmacist with Sup-RX Pharmacy.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Jones (Shannon DuBose Jones) of Sumter and Timmy Jones (Kit Henry Jones) of Cornelius, North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Cassidy Jones, Heidi Jones, Austin Jones, Alex Jones and Logan Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holly Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
