Janie Bell Moore, 62, entered into eternal peace with God on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia.

Janie was affectionately known to every one as "Pie." She was born on Oct. 27, 1957, in Sumter, a beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Osborne Sanders. Janie attended the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1978. In furthering her education, she attended Central Carolina Technical College. She later gave her life to Christ at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member. She loved cooking, playing crossword puzzles and spending time with people.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Jonathan Moore; two beloved children, Cedrick and Webster Moore of the home; a special daughter, Lashandra Bennett of Rembert; three grandchildren, Ke'Mauri, Ashantia and Madison of Rembert; sisters and brothers, Geneva Murphy, Fannie (Marion) Moore, Mary (Caleb) Kershaw and Martha Sanders, all of Rembert, Hillard (Sandra) Osborne of Hyattsville, Maryland, Richmond (Martha) Workman of Washington, D.C., and Joseph Sanders of Grenada, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Josephine Jenkins of Rembert and Mary Moore Bledsoe of Camden; brothers-in-law, Robert (Margie) Moore of Rembert and Herbert Moore of Camden; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 5490 Mayrant Road, Rembert.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1917 Boykin Road, Rembert, with the Rev. Nathan Greene officiating.
