STOCKBRIDGE, Georgia - Funeral services for Jimmie Jean Lee Powell Baker will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Wayman Chapel AME Church, 160 N. Kings Highway, Sumter, with the Rev. Robert China, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1944, in Sumter, to the late James and Edna Taylor Powell.

She departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, in Stockbridge.
