Loretta "Lottie" Glisson Jackson, 67, passed on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, in Northern Virginia.
Known affectionately as Lottie, she was born on Nov. 21, 1956, to the late Elijah and Ellen Howard Glisson. Loretta retired after 30 years in Northern Virginia Group Homes. She was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and served her last 26 years at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Woodbridge, Virginia.
Memorial celebration will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
