On Saturday, Sept. 26, Morris College students senior Makayla Simmons, left in top photo, and freshman Kemonty Brown received scholarships totaling $3,200 from a female group of Shriners, known as The Imperial Court, from the Prince Hall Shrinedom. The court's purpose is to unite members through friendship, charity, benevolence, honor and integrity and the organization supports education, scholarships and other initiatives.
