Police seek help identifying woman for alleged card fraud

Sumter detectives are working to identify a woman who allegedly made purchases with a stolen debit card at a local business.

Video surveillance captured the woman after using the card reportedly at businesses in Lake City and Myrtle Beach, according to a news release from the Sumter Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sumter Police Department at (803) 436-2700. Information can also be given anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at (803) 436-2718 or 1-888-CRIME-SC, toll free.

A cash reward may be available for information leading to an arrest.
