Eric Jon Boerner, a U.S. presidential candidate, will host a town hall event at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Restaurant at Second Mill in Sumter.
According to a news release, following a campaign tour of Iowa, Boerner will be visiting S.C. for the next two weeks engaging with Republican constituents.
"South Carolina plays a crucial role in our nation's tourism and agricultural development sectors," said Boerner in the release. "Like Iowans, people here are worried about the economic downturn and rising inflation rates. I want to assure them that we can recover from these challenges under fiscally responsible leadership. I am confident that I am the right candidate for this job."
Boerner's policy platform emphasizes border security, energy security, economic security and national security. He has proposed a 100-day plan aimed at addressing the border crisis and homelessness issues currently facing the country. He has an extensive policy white paper available at EricBoerner.com.
According to his campaign team, he is currently the only true grassroots candidate within the Republican field.
