Sumter man wanted in connection to death of Kalieah Green

Deputies are searching for a Sumter man they want to charge in connection to a shooting that killed a 20-year-old on May 25.

According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Juwone D’Angelo Kelley Jay, 24, is wanted on charges of murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and discharging a weapon into a vehicle. Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff’s office, said the agency is considering him “armed and dangerous.”

A month ago, Kalieah Green was shot to death on Hickory Road.

Regarding the attached photo, Sarvis said Jay currently has twists in his hair.
