Sumter Rotary, H.Y.P.E Program donate 100 pairs of shoes to local kids

The annual Happy Feet Shoe Donation last weekend sent local kids back to school from spring break in style. Rotary Club of Sumter Palmetto, in collaboration with the H.Y.P.E After School Program and Sumter Shoe Department, spread joy last weekend by providing 100 new pairs of shoes to children in Sumter through the annual campaign. Happy Feet aims to give deserving children a new pair of shoes and has done so for more than a decade. Recipients are chosen based on need through the H.Y.P.E. After School Program and receive vouchers to purchase new shoes.
