Sumter Today: Business leaders and legislators prepare for the year ahead

The Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce held its annual Legislative Breakfast this week at Central Carolina Technical College’s Health Sciences Building in downtown Sumter, giving our local legislative delegation the chance to preview some of the major topics we should expect to see on the table in this year’s legislative session, which starts in January. Attendees were also given the chance to ask their lawmakers questions, and we have a recap of how it all went.
