Sumter Today: American Legion Softball Playoffs 2022

The second year of American Legion Softball is approaching its Championship match on Monday, July 18th. Sumter saw a teamkill as the P-15 Lady Legends and P-15 Lady Storm faced off in the second round. American Legion Department of South Carolina Commander Jim Jarvis was in attendance at last night's game, and we got to speak with him about the importance of Legion softball for these athletes and how overdue the program is after nearly 100 years of Legion baseball.
